John Stovall

Putting Working Families First

A lifelong Kentuckian and former Army reservist, John Stovall loves Kentucky and its people. John is running for state representative to be a voice for middle class Kentuckians in Frankfort.

Improving the Lives of Kentuckians

I’ve spent decades looking out for Kentuckians who get up every day and work hard to provide for their families and give their kids a better life. It is clear to me that now more than ever we need more leaders in Frankfort who will fight like hell for working people. I’ll work with Governor Beshear to continue growing our booming economy and create good-paying family-supporting jobs while expanding access to quality affordable healthcare and protecting workers’ pensions. People who know me know that I’ll always do what’s right and I’ll work with—or stand up to—anybody to improve the lives of middle class Kentuckians."

Putting Working Families First

Why John Can Win

Falling largely within Jefferson County, District 37 is currently represented by Rep. Emily Callaway, a first-term extremist Republican whose dangerous views are out of step with her constituents. Governor Beshear won the district by nearly 20 points in 2023, making this seat one of the best pickup opportunities for Democrats. A strong supporter of Governor Beshear, John is a pragmatic leader who will always put working families first.
